Frequently Asked
Questions
Q: How do
you determine who is ready to buy or sell a home?
A: Every Future Home Seller and Future Home Buyer Report begins
with a massive, home-by-home survey of nearly every household in
America - including all the towns in your area. Only those who respond
to the survey and say they are planning to buy or sell a home within
the next 1 to 12 months are included in the reports.
Q: What's
the difference between the Future Home Seller Report and Future
Home Buyer Report?
A: The Future Home Seller Report gives you the names of families
in your area who own a home and plan to move in the next 1 to 12
months. The Future Home Buyer Report gives you the names of families
in your area who are currently renting, but plan to buy a home in
the same time period.
Q: How do
I know the data is fresh?
A: The survey goes on continuously in waves, hitting households
at regular intervals. Every month, we receive new data and deliver
it promptly by e-mail. Our priority is data quality, which is why
we can't promise a minimum number of names.
Q: How many
names will I receive?
A: The number of names will vary depending on the population size
of each ZIP Code. On average, you can expect to receive 50-100 names
per ZIP Code, per year.
Q: Do I ever
get duplicate data?
A: No. Every report is a new batch of fresh, up-to-date future home
sellers or future home buyers. Once a name is reported, it is never
reported again at any time.
Q: Specifically,
what information is included in the report?
A: Each report includes the consumer's first and last name, complete
street address, phone number (when available), whether they own
or rent, and when they intend to sell or buy a home.
Q: How can
I use the data once I get it?
A: Any way you like. There are no time limits or usage restrictions
of any kind. If you want to use the addresses as a mailing list,
you can mail as often as you like for as long as you like. It's
up to you. You can't resell the data, of course, but otherwise it's
yours to do with as you please.
Q. How many
other agents will get the same names I get?
A. None. Once you reserve a ZIP Code, all the names generated from
that ZIP Code are yours exclusively. Needless to say, this gives
you an incredible advantage over your competitors. No other agent
will ever have access to your names.
Q. How do
I know if the ZIP Codes I want are still available?
A. Just click on ZIP Code Availability
and type in the ZIP Code(s) you wish to search.
Q: How do
I know the data is accurate?
A: What makes the data so reliable is that it's gathered through
self-reported surveys. This means it's the consumers themselves
who are saying they are planning to buy or sell a home in the next
1 to 12 months.
Q: How does
my subscription work?
A: First, you reserve your ZIP Code(s) using the enclosed ZIP Code
Reservation Form. Then, just tell us which report you wish to receive
- the Future Home Seller or Future Home Buyer Report, or both. This
automatically signs you up for 6 full months. You will begin receiving
your report(s) in the month following your reservation. Reports
are generally sent out in the first week of each month. Of course,
once you reserve ZIP Codes, they are yours exclusively as long as
you maintain your subscription.
Q. Do I have
to pay for each name I receive, or a referral fee on closed transactions?
A. Absolutely not. The only thing you ever pay is the $50 semi-annual
ZIP Code reservation fee. There are no other charges of any kind.
Q: How do
I get started?
A: Simply fill out the enclosed ZIP Code Reservation Form and fax
it back. We'll reserve your ZIP Codes and bill you $50 for each
one that is available. ZIP Codes are assigned on a first come,
first
served basis. So obviously, the faster you respond, the more likely
you are to get the areas you want.
